John G. Alsobrook has more than 34 years of litigation and legal counseling experience. John has litigated cases in the state and federal courts in Louisiana and has also handled cases in other states, including Texas and Mississippi, for his clients. He successfully represented and defended clients at hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, and in trial and appellate courts regarding commercial transportation, construction defects, pest control defense, products liability, workers’ compensation, premises liability, hotel/innkeeper defense, insurance coverage issues, insurance defense, primary and umbrella defense, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, corporate defense, trademark infringement, trademark registration, intellectual property, and other areas of the law.

John has been included in “Best Lawyers in America” for the New Orleans area in the personal injury defense section since 2014.

Although he grew up in New Orleans, John’s education took him to many different places. He graduated from The Lawrenceville School (’83) in Lawrenceville, NJ. Then, he graduated from Rhodes College (’87),in Memphis, TN. He returned home for law school and graduated from Tulane University Law School (’90).

John has been married for 25 years and is the proud parent of four wonderful children. He enjoys reading, cooking, and supporting the local sports teams.
