Mr. Baker holds over two decades of experience in a wide array of legal matters, including insurance defense, labor and employment law, mergers and acquisitions, and complex commercial litigation. He has represented a broad spectrum of clients – from individuals to major corporations.

Jonas graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1998. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the Louisiana Supreme Court, U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.

 Jonas is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and Covington Bar Association. He has lectured on employment issues and taught a course on Hospitality Law at Delgado University.

Jonas currently resides in Covington, Louisiana with his wife and two daughters.
