Sarah Miller maintains a practice focused on insurance defense, termite and pest control litigation, construction law, and various civil litigation matters. Sarah earned her Juris Doctor and Diploma in Comparative Law from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2025 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Mass Communication, from Louisiana State University. She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, the Louisiana Supreme Court, the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts Courts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
In law school, she served as a Senior Article Editor and Senior Associate for the Journal of Energy Law and Resources (Vol. XIII), after previously serving as an Article Manager and Junior Associate (Vol. XII). In that capacity, she led a symposium titled “Critical Minerals: From Mining to Markets – Legal and Policy Challenges in the Global Race for Critical Minerals,” which received the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources Law Student Program of the Year Award in 2025. Her published article, “Walking the Tightrope: Louisiana’s Attempt to Balance State Regulation Authority of Carbon Capture and Storage Projects with Local Parish Concerns,” appears in Volume XIII of the journal.
Sarah externed for Judge Castle of the 15th Judicial District Court of Louisiana during law school, where she gained valuable exposure to litigation and judicial decision-making. She also participated in a Civil Mediation Clinic, where she successfully mediated a variety of both small claims and civil court cases.
Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
