Cynthia Bologna brings two decades of diverse experience in complex commercial litigation, construction law, termite and pest control litigation, insurance coverage and defense, medical malpractice defense, and government and municipal liability. Over the years, she has maintained a successful litigation practice where she assists and advises local, national and multinational clients across leading industry sectors.
Cynthia earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver in Colorado, and her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. During law school, Cynthia received the “Law Excellence Award” in the Study of Capital Punishment and the Constitution. She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
She is a member five bar associations, including the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association. Cynthia is actively involved in the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and the Association for Women Attorneys. She was recently appointed to serve a three-year term as a hearing committee member with the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board.
Throughout her career, Cynthia has contributed to various publications. Of note in the construction industry, she co-authored “Proliferation of Lead-Exposure Litigation Creates New Risks for Contractors,” featured in Under Construction’s December 2017 issue.
